The company's development
In 1951 Industrias Lotu took its first steps under the guidance of Juan Berasategui Tellería. It started out in a small (120 m2) workshop in the San Jorge area of Pamplona with three employees, a lot of initiative and very few resources, manufacturing large screws for such strategic sectors as the railways, high-voltage pylons, etc.

With time the professionalism and hard work of Industrias LOTU brought prestige, and as a result the company grew steadily and consolidated itself. In 1955 it moved to Villava, a small town to the east of Pamplona, employing 7 people in a larger 250 m2 factory.

In 1964 Industrias LOTU took a big step forward, inaugurating a 600 m2 factory with 20 workers in the San Juan area of Pamplona. Eleven years later, the company's development and the need for more space led it to move to the Landaben Industrial Estate (west of Pamplona), home to some of the most important Spanish companies. That was in 1975, and the new factory covered 2,000 m2 with 37 employees.

The company continued to develop and in 1988 Industrias LOTU moved to its present home on the same industrial estate. The new factory covers 6,000 m2 on an 11,000 m2 site, and currently has 52 employees.
